Hey all,

Think you know the ins and outs of DIY LED? Put your knowledge to the test and see how you do on this little quiz! This quiz is aimed at intermediate users with some borderline advanced stuff sprinkled in, but it doesn’t hurt to give it a go even if you’re new, since there are explanations for all the answers at the end of the test – just click “VIEW QUESTIONS” after you finish the quiz.

    haha I should of done better few of them I read it wrong lol… I still did better than avg 🙂 question #18.. shouldn’t they be perfect split?? if you had different color temps like in your video its not split perfect.. I get that but both 3k or both 4k shouldn’t it be 700/700?

      Hey JGG. The chances of a near-perfect split are pretty low. even with LEDs of the same bin, there’s enough variance to cause them to pull significantly different current.

  2. Man come on there is not a huge temp difference in using thermal pads versus messy thermal grease that will dry out over time and I don’t care what cree says as they have lost in it in the cob race at this point. I have the db specs and they aren’t worth the price over a vero 29 or citizen. I am also not one to use drivers that you can’t dim with a pot. I will say I did better than average.
