Re: Starboard leds

Yea it sucks that something like Steve’sLEDs isn’t available over where your at. Try searching aquarium lighting or reef lighting websites based in Europe. That’s what Steve’s LEDs is, originally specializing in DIY aquarium LEDs and retrofitting. Idk how popular it is around the world but there are...

Re: Build log of Vesta's

Hmmm and the resolution of 500v range is 1v?
Display reads XXX with no decimal points?
Accuracy range of a 95v reading is 94ish to 98+ish

Have you had a chance to measure current?

Your temp measurements aren’t elevated so that’s good.

Re: witch cob for 100w usage pliz?

But you have to realize that such detail is highly subjective. Factors include environment, TIM, heatsink shape, size, fin/extrusion etc. plus many more. Sounds like you already had the information your asking for tho.. Running cobs @ 100w isn’t efficient to begin with. Read the data sheets, there y...

Re: Build log of Vesta's

The lowest DC volt range on your meter is 500V? Resolution doesn’t imply accuracy at that level. Do you know the accuracy? +/- % of reading (+digits) is how you’ll calculate accuracy at a givin resolution. The equation might look a little different for your meter. Can you explain your wiring and how...

Re: Atreum strips preview

We know this but I was asking if anyone has received their strips yet as a couple members here ordered them a while back. I’m personally not a fan of the HLG bars at all. Waterproof isn’t an issue for anyone in the DIY market. Especially at that price and potential loss of transmission thru the hous...

Re: R2T Sunbar sample testing data

Looks nice.

What’s the difference in the 3 tests?
How high were the strips when tested?
Strip voltage?
Price?
Will heatsink be included?

Re: witch cob for 100w usage pliz?

There’s no best cob... your question has no definitive answer. the answers you got are perfectly valid. Growmau puck is absolutely in the cob catagory. yes theire is plenty of choice, but guyz i wanted to know witch cob chip is better on 100w range migro are using luminous gen 4 the growmau puck is ...
