Re: Are these the beginning of male flowers
Buying is always easier, that's not the point sometimes you try things just to see if they can be done. But as it turns out those were male flowers so at this point I am partially successful. Now I got to see if I get any pollen, then seed. If I can get at least 20-30 viable seeds, then my little 2x...

Re: Thoughts on this ebay panel,
So the project has progress. I sourced out a 12v 250w CV power supply it turns out a local 3d printer shop had some for a competitive price. When I found out there was adjustment of the output voltage that pretty much pushed me in that direction. I then properly mounted up the paneld to my heat sink...

Re: Alternative theory for THC as protection from UV-B
Could the late production of sticky resin be linked to getting the seeds distributed . Sticky seeds are more likely to get stuck a birds foot and spread the genes wider. There is no point in just dumping all the seeds in one spot. There are native North American prairie grass seeds that need to go t...

Re: Thoughts on this ebay panel,
One part of the plan I am not sold on is the boost converter, it got really hot very fast and I am not sure I want to deal heat management for that. So I am contemplating either a spaghetti monster 12v all parallel build or a slightly less spaghetti 24 v build with a mix of parallel and serial. And ...

Re: Thoughts on this ebay panel,
Still waiting on 2 heat sinks, I had some project creep It went from spacebucket to a 1.5x3x4 cabinet. Going on the migrow and bigclive videos, my assumption is at 12v 3.5a (according to clive's testing) you will need to heat sink. I don't think a 5 cob parallel is safe at 12v for a normal household...

Re: Thoughts on this ebay panel,
Yes I get the standard eBay sketchy flag. But after a little more reading I assume it the amps it takes to run is the measure of in efficiency, Just following the rabbit trail a little further since an ATX power supply is set up to deliver lots of 12 v power how feasible would it be to use that as a...
