Re: Not getting full power
Yeah definitely have a multimeter. I made another thread about it. It would seem that each strip (1ft Samsung using the exact setup from this site exist my driver is 150H instead of 120H) is, pulling around 19.8 ish volts. The decrease slightly with distance from the driver as expected. 12 strips al...

Re: Not getting full power
Interesting. I tried both 16 and 14awg run in the driver to the strips (only a couple of feet) and it made no difference to the current draw.
I guess I could try even bigger wire..

Re: Multimeter use on bridgelux 1 foot setup
Are they all connected and running when you're measuring each one individually? Yep. So the wire from the strip goes into one side of the multimeter (via another wago) then the other side of the multimeter into the wago that the strip usually connects to. When I turn the light on, all strips are li...

Re: Not getting full power
Hey man,
Wondering if you resolved this one. I'm having the same issue more or less. It seems each strip for me is getting the right amount of current but then the total current (and therefore power draw) out of the driver is lower than it should be..

Re: Multimeter use on bridgelux 1 foot setup
Hmm. So I'm still getting the same result after changing out the 18AWG and replacing with 14AWG between the driver and the strips. I've hooked up the multimeter in between each strip down the 'negative' side and their associated wago (3 strips go into each wago). All of them read around 0.6A, which ...

Re: DIY build advice
Hey mate, Saw you were in aus so had a read through. I built the 2x2 bridgelux build off this site. Ledgardener is so damn helpful. Couple of things to hopefully help. I only used the 1-foot (they're actually only 280mm) strips and went and sourced aluminium for the frame and to act as heat sinks. N...

Re: Multimeter use on bridgelux 1 foot setup
Sorry, I should have mentioned I already disconnected the dimmer and it read the same as with the dimmer maxed, about 4.5A. What size wire are you using? Yeah so I think this might be it. I'm running 18AWG from the strips to Wagos but 14AWG between Wagos. However, and I don't know why I did this, b...

Re: Multimeter use on bridgelux 1 foot setup
So I managed to sort this out with an extra Wago. Thanks for your help. However it produced an interesting result. The voltage out of the driver as expected (hlg-150h-20B) is 20.1V. No worries. Also as expected, voltage across the furthest strip is a bit lower at 19.86V. More if a drop than I though...

Re: Multimeter use on bridgelux 1 foot setup
Thanks for that reply. Yeah I understand that the circuit has to be broken and that the multimeter has to be wired in series to measure current (also understand that this is different to measuring voltage) but what I'm after is the actual way to do that. As in, the actual way to wire it in series. W...
