Need help re-understanding the use of 10k ohm resistor wired before pot
Hey all, For a particular no cost piece together build, I am using 4x Citizen Amber COB CLU048-1212C4-22AL1K3 (min 31.8, typ 34.6, max 37.5) @ 34.6vf totaling 138.4vf. These will be driven by an HLG-185H-C1400B ( 71V ~ 143V, 700ma ~ 1400ma) in series 4s. (or possibly a parallel 2s2p.... depending on...

Re: What type of relay for switching drivers ac input
Hey Teknik, Thanks for the reply. That was my first inclination as well, so I wrote them back in November 2019, but did not really get a clear answer (which I blame on my inability to describe and lack of familiarity with the over bigger electronics world). Enter Message Subject Cross far red over w...

What type of relay for switching drivers ac input
Hi, I have a chilled drive that I want to make use of the far red ac channel that is on it's own relay. Normally the Far Red channel is switched on, in sequence (as far as I can tell), after the last channel timer switches off in sunset mode or as the main lights switch off without sunset, and runs ...

Re: Low profile slim BXEB build finally finished
Hi,
Was the 2 inch flat bar underneath each side just for extra heatsinking and support?
Very nice and clean build. Those slims are looking slick.
Cheers,

Re: Looking for confirmation on wiring
Thermal tape should suffice. I've taken mine off the heatsink using a razor and 99% isopropyl alcohol. The tape stays sticky and for the 6 I've replaced, are still sticking very strongly after 6 months

Re: Samsung f-series build questions
More strips, because you can run them with less amperage (power and heat) to get better coverage and closer canopy distances.
My 2 cents.

Re: Making a Bridgelux Gen 2 320w build for flower ~
Also not quite what you are asking for, but I've done 200w of gen 2 3500k 80cri with 200w of additional deep and far red. Great results. For the price the bxeb's are a great light.

Re: Help verify my EB strip build (BXEB-L0280Z-35E1000-C-B3)
Everything checks out, except wiring 5 in series. Bridgelux eb Gen 2's maximum voltage rating is 60v (datasheet page 4 note 3) so the maximum series wiring I would go with would be 3. Is the same true for the 4' ones? I have 3 strips in series on a 75-150V, 500 mA driver and they are still alive. S...

But to get a driver to match up with that and your desired wattage might be tough. I'd instead look for an hlg c...
