Raspberry Pi 'Shortage', possibilities.
I am/was right on the fence of buying some atlas scientific kits; ph, ec, temp. But I was planning on working with a raspberry pi. These are very difficult to find right now, the prices are going up and up, and it also seems people are buying them up to gouge people on ebay etc. I'm a complete newb,...

Re: The mystery of the Mean Well type AB driver models?
Once a voltage is set then leds can not absorb more current from the driver than what the maximum watts of the combination of the volts and amps are, this prevents overload. I will give an example, if you have a 36V COB set up with 6 COBs in parallel that when connected to your system takes an actu...

Re: The mystery of the Mean Well type AB driver models?
The current adjustment screw terminal on the driver overrides the POT. Once current is set by the screw you can dim them as per normal. The way I would use these in a parallel build is to set the maximum voltage to the output of your boards. This way if a board fails or something goes wrong it will...

Is that right? Hmm, ok cool. Thanks.sdfoster22 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 4:21 pmThe b versions are reported to go above max also, you just need above 110kohm dimmer.
I've got my question answered too I think, about the meters
I just got b-type for another build, and a pot. need to find a 10k ohm resister now I think.

Re: DIY LED AC Display to monitor Energy Consumption(Voltmeter/Ammeter)
I'm looking for something similar. Here's the C&P of my question... "...I was up on a ladder putting a No.1 phillips into the internal pot of one of three 240h-c2100A's to adjust the output, while looking down at a killawatt meter to get some idea of what I was actually dimming to, when I realised.....

JGG,
You upgraded from 4 QB's on a 480h-c2100b, to 6 QB's on a 480h-54b. Now I'm wondering why not a 600h-54b seeing as you added two boards?

Re: I need some driver help...4x qb288 v2
JGG, That model isn't a programmable driver. The "EUD" series are the programmable ones. And the only one I can "readily" get is the EUD-600S280DT (not sure if DTA or DTL yet). It's a constant current driver. Output Current: 2240 - 2800mA (programmable via pc). Output Voltage: 108 - 268V So that out...

Re: LED / Quantum Board heat (thread)?
Why not just have the drivers run remote....a few bucks in wire and problem solved? Do the 480s have dual leads to the boards like the 600s? It would still allow 4 separate units, just any dimming would be limited to pairs of units, rather than individual as described. Drivers are remote mounted, b...

Re: LED / Quantum Board heat (thread)?
I'm wondering about heat too. Switched from HID to strips at the end of the last grow, and had to add a 800w oil cooler. The room still felt way cooler then before. HID's do have a lovely radiant heat. I don't really know the words for it, but pretty much everyone from Finland know there are huge q...
