Re: Inventronics Drivers

That actually crossed my mind last night when I laid down believe it or not. Good stuff Jolly as I wasn't sure what the connectors we're rated at.

Re: Driver for my qb

HLG drivers labeled -c1050, or -c2100 are constant current. Drivers labeled -48 or -54 are constant voltage.

Re: Driver for my qb

Slightly higher current on the -48. 2.5 amps per board wired in parrallel vs 2.1 amps per board wired in series.

Re: Inventronics Drivers

I do not know why I didn't think of 4' boards. I guess EB2 made me think of 2'. The S140dt should power 12 boards. Sorry I missed the connection there.
You might be able to squeeze in 2 extra boards for a efficiency bump. 1 for sure but I'm not sure on their tolerances.

Re: HLG QB324 V2 board, driver and wire questions

If you are here because HLG doesn't respond to emails, I feel you pain. A1- parrallel wiring is connecting the positive driver lead to the positive board lead of every board. Then connecting the negative lead to the negative terminal of every board. Series is connecting the driver + to first board +...

Re: Driver for my qb

The thought crossed my mind about the awkwardness of mounting 2 drivers in that configuration. Another thought was to use 320h on each run of 3 but then you would lose total wattage as the 320 is an odd interval compared to 240 and 480. I have relocated drivers outside the cab so it isn't much more ...

That's a pretty good find Marine. I'd be interested in side by side with typical cri/typical spectrum vs these 97 cri. You have any more literature?

Re: Inventronics Drivers

Hydro, I believe these models dim to 10 percent current. The 1.1 to 1.4 is considered the max range. I'm assuming they mean "full load range" by that statement. You are certainly right though, this isn't the best choice unless the OP plans on adding strips in the future. I believe this driver would ...
