Re: buying a driver
That driver will run them with high efficiency at the cobs but it's not an optimum pairing. If you are shooting for about 250 watts you can use the 240h-c1050. The driver you suggested maxes out at about 250 which would scale back the current to around 1050 anyway. If you are wanting to run them at ...

Re: Clu048-1818 and 180mm heatsink , what driver to choose ?
I believe those are 50v cobs if memory serves. If that is true than either of those drivers would give you 90 to 100 watts. The -54 would run a bit higher than 100 watts (closer to 115) at ~2200 mA and therefore might not dim all the way to 50watts. (55ish).you would need to wire these in parallel w...

Re: Driver for my qb
Are you using hlg boards or atreum? If using hlg you should be fine with 240h-48a and 480h-48a drivers respectively. Using the a drivers will help you get the most wattage from the driver for the configuration. If using atreum you should opt for -54 drivers as they typically recommend. I assume 150 ...

Re: Bridgelux strips not working
You are aware that the wago opens completely right? Meaning the little orange clasp is hard to lift until it's at about 90 degrees open and then it releases allowing you to insert your leads for the multimeter and get a good bite on the wire. When you say "dimming" are you referring to the current r...

Re: Bridgelux strips not working
I do not have any experience with that particular problem. I do have a c2800b driver that only puts out 2100mA. They do make bad ones. I'm starting to see more and more threads about defective drivers. Can you return the driver for a new one?
Re: Qb 324 v2
Update. Got the boards hooked up and turned them on. I did check the voltage and found it to be lower than expected at 51.2v each. I then checked the current and it is running at exactly 2100mA. What are the odds I received a mislabeled driver and actually got a c2100b? The dimming leads we're not b...

Re: The best setup for 3,2x3,2 cabin?
3500k spectrum is pretty well suited for dual purpose applications. You will want at least 300w in my opinion. How many lights depends on your budget. You can run 6 cobs at 50w or 12 cobs at 25w for a huge efficiency gain.

Re: Bridgelux strips not working
What's wierd is .44 is half the overall current of the maximum draw current . What is the current potentiometer set at? Turned all the way down by chance?

Re: Driver for my qb
For 80cm x 80cm you should be golden at 35 w/sqft. For 1m x 1m you might want a bit more light. I had some success with 300 watts in that space. 6x cxb3590 CD bin at 50 watts each.

Re: Driver for my qb
I'm curious, what size space are you running these boards in? I don't know many that take advantage of that kind of efficiency right away. Most folks add boards later and bring those numbers up.
