Re: Another First Build
@admin Thanks for the welcome, good to be here. I found thermal tape here , seems reasonable, would this work? A diagram for wiring with the wago’s would be great. Also good price for the wago’s . Hey Tony I don't want to step on LG's toes here, but the thermal transfer tape is the same stuff I bou...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space
Either that’s a typo, or it’s some sort of custom dimming option Fromm mean well. I’d say it’s a typo. Unfortunately I can’t tell which style it really is. Isn't the A driver the one that's adjustable with a screw driver. The B driver has to be connected to a potentiometer, right? You bet. This one...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space
Appreciate the explanations, it cleared up a lot. I am taking your advice and am going to go with a slightly bigger driver to allow for expansion if needed at a later date. Thinking about going with this, if you guys could confirm it would work? I know you said get the "B" version as it allows dimm...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space
I think you are just confused by the terms. The driver doesn't really consume the wattage, it just makes it accessible to DC circuitry. Each LED is what is actually drawing the power. The driver will provide as much as 40 W from your wall to send 1.67 amps @ 24V to the LED strips. So if you had 10 s...

Re: The Quick Question Thread
Hi Guys, I am in the middle of getting parts together for a 10 strip (LT-H562D) powered with an HLG-185H-24A. My question is about terminal blocks and wire gauge. 1) Can I use 2 of these terminal blocks (one + and one -) to connect the driver to the strips? Or is there a better choice? Is it ok to co...

Re: Fancy Schmancy DIY LM561C Extras
My pleasure. So to get this straight, are you thinking of running AC power up to your frame? How would this tie into power at the wall? Sorry I haven't logged in in a couple weeks. I was going to put the light switch and timer on the AC side of the driver. So the light switch and timer would be mou...

Re: Fancy Schmancy DIY LM561C Extras
Ehhhh, thanks for registering! For my tent, I use this timer . It has a button for on/off which you can use to toggle the lights if need be. For your light switch, do you already have a switch that controls the circuit that your outlet is on? I was going to go with a plug-in style timer, but I'm tr...

Re: Fancy Schmancy DIY LM561C Extras
Thanks for joining, lot of info here for this type of build. That would work... If you wanted to get fancy, get the "B" version of the Driver and a PWM controller... Thanks Ted. Its a real honor talking to you. Love the movies. Is Giovani Ribisi really that creepy? OK that might be a little too fan...

Fancy Schmancy DIY LM561C Extras
This is my first post here. I am in love with the idea of these LED strips. I posted some questions over on /r/microgrowery, but I think this might be the better place to post for these builds. I am in the process of getting things together to build my new light (10- LT-H562D Strips, in parallel, HL...
