Re: DWC and pythium
Strange, the few times I have had root rot I have fixed the issue using HydroGuard. Admittedly at slightly higher doses than the bottle depending on the case. I wonder if it could have been a bad bottle that you got as it can expire and needs to be stored around room temperature. I have accidentall...

Re: DWC and pythium
How often do you change your reservoir and how big is it? 73-75F is a bit high but I've seen HydroGuard handle worse and maintain decent growth. Once every 7 days i do a complete water change, and i add a fairly strong dose of calcium hypochlorite (formula for solution below) when mixing nutrients,...

Re: DWC and pythium
Hey guys :!: Been experimenting for a while with DWC, and only 1 out of 3 grows have been pythium/root rot free, or atleast it hasn't stunted the grow. So i read a lot about it, and people either say go sterile or beneficial microbes, so ive tried both, still the same issues, only thing i can find ...

Re: What sort of height do you run your strip lights above canopy?
1) Measure the length x width of the light fixture. If in inches divide that by 144 to get square feet of light fixture 2) Take the amps that your light runs at and times it by the voltage - this will give you wattage of light 3) Divide #2/#1 to get watts/sq foot, I've had success with 30 watts/sq ...

Re: Yeild data is coming in for F-series room.
Hi OP I think you will get those numbers a lot higher, having seen yyields around 2g/watt done without breaking too much of a sweaat. Does the light mover raise/lower? Our approach was to completely cover cannopy in low hanging leds (we use fotop boards, lm561c and with CO2, PPFD around 800-900 and...

Re: Yeild data is coming in for F-series room.
Also on that note @randorson do you mind if I ask around how long were your veg times with these runs and do you veg with the same lights you flower with at lower intensities? Thanks!

Re: What affects growth direction?
I believe unkle_psycho has done some research on this. From what I remember regarding his posts, it seems like a high kelvin light source like 5K will beat light intensity for growth direction say versus a stronger 2700K light source. I was thinking about eventually experimenting with side lighting ...

Re: Yeild data is coming in for F-series room.
Awesome, thanks! Yeah that definitely makes sense and doing some research seems like I might able to save money on both additional fixtures and electricity using them. Before going recreational my operations were always very limited by space, so never bothered looking into them. I will take a look a...

Re: Yeild data is coming in for F-series room.
Many thanks from a micro-tier rec grower from Oregon randorson !! Nice to see some actual data with LED's for cannabis. Finished my prototype EB Gen 2 build but haven't flowered with it yet as I was having some other production and technical issues, as well as I work another job given Oregon's marke...

They're based out of Minnesota so guessing it's September 7th as it is the "freedom" formatunkle_psycho wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 10:37 amI think digikey had 09.07 as the date for ages. Cant say if the date refered to July or September
