Re: Dimmed Strips brighten by themselves?
Hi GG, thanks for getting back to me. I've taken your advice and changed the pot. Its early days but it seems to be stable. Desperately hoping it's not a driver problem, If it comes back that's where I'll look next. Cheers.

Re: Dimmed Strips brighten by themselves?
Hi, Thanks for a quick response. I'm using a potentiometer, a cheap one from AliExpress. It's 100k along with a resistor but I haven't been able to check the pots. precise value.

Re: Samsung strip build (mainly flowering).
I looked into the heatsinks and in this part of the world they cost a fortune. The equivalent of $550-$600. As a cheaper(about a third) alternative would 2x 500mm lengths of Aluminium Double Channel 16mm x 10mm x 1.3mm https://hardware-warehouse.co.uk/profiles/channel/double-u-channel/raw-aluminium-...

Re: Samsung strip build (mainly flowering).
Hi Crazyphil, when I start i plan on hanging the drivers in the tent but depending on tent temps. one or both can be placed outside. Air movement in the tent will be created with a RVK fan fitted with an air diffuser. Layout of light fixtures in 1.5m tent - 20190315_181003.png The diffuser being the...

Re: Samsung strip build (mainly flowering).
Hi there, thanks for your input. Before discovering this great site I was going down the commercial Blackdog LED route as it claims to do the coverage I require. I then found this site and my eyes were opened as to what could be achieved. I found a 4x4 build by LG and expanded it knowing that at tim...

Samsung strip build (mainly flowering).
I'm an experienced HPS grower forced to downsize from a 2.4 x 2.4m grow space to either a 1.5 x 1.5m or 2 x 2m grow tent depending on strain and yield. So what i'm looking for is a very high performing build to try and compensate for lost floor space. Will this work? My idea is to run 40 Samsung LT-...

Greetings from London
Experienced HPS grower still learning. Forced to downsize but hoping to achieve similar if not better results using LEDS. Looking forward to learning more and a satisfying build.
