You can do the same thing with dual channel Vesta's and Inventronics drivers to adjust your light recipe to infinite combinations. My light is fully adjustable for light recipe as well its built on ready rod so I can change its footprint.

Re: What sort of height do you run your strip lights above canopy?
I keep them at 16” now on canopy, canopy is a grey word……canopy is where the bulk of the leaves exist not the highest points of the canopy

Re: Maximum number of amps?
Max out around 10 amps, this gives you some wiggle room for a 15 amp breaker

Re: Question about working voltage insulation
I think this language was put in to prevent cases where someone might wire a high, fixed voltage power supply across a single strip. Like a 100V power supply to a LED with 60V-rated insulation. But this is a huge exception and not at all how we assemble LED lights by using LED drivers that regulate...

Us army still uses imperial. If it's merican it's imperial, almost always. I'm used to it now and I'm actually way more comfortable with imperial too the point where going back to SI is a pain in the ass. All of our building and construction is all imperial in Canada. Funny when they implemented SI ...

Re: Bridgelux 2ft x12 beginner questions
Those suck for efficiency, like 65-70% i believe then you'll need to include ldd drivers as well to get those things to work properly and nicely with leds. You'll easily recoup the cost in electricity with a hlg or similar driver.

Re: How much light should I be using
For 2x5 or 10 sq ft during veg I'd run it 150-180 watts at 18" high, flower 300 watts at 18" high. You can increase or decrease height and wattage but I'd start there. You can also let the plants tell you, if they droop by lights out repeatedly then it's too much light.
