Re: Lighting advice for Space Bucket with LT-H282D LEDs

My novice opinion - 7000 lumens would be more than enough, that's at the top end of the recommended scale. I am building a light for a PC case which is around 1 sq ft also and I am using 5 of these bridgelux strips for 6000 lumens https://www.digikey.co.uk/product-detail/en/bridgelux/BXEB-L0280Z-35E...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space

Thanks guys, I will speak to the technical support on mouser.co.uk and see if they can shed some light. Will be sure to report back! Just in case anyone knows, what wiring/connectors would I need to get these strips wired up to this driver? Hoping to not have to do any soldering if I can get away wi...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space

Appreciate the explanations, it cleared up a lot. I am taking your advice and am going to go with a slightly bigger driver to allow for expansion if needed at a later date. Thinking about going with this, if you guys could confirm it would work? I know you said get the "B" version as it allows dimmi...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space

Thanks that worked a treat. One thing I can;t get my head around is how parallel wiring works in terms of the driver you recommended. I am going wrong somewhere here so would appreciate you taking a look at my calculations - 5 x BXEB-L0280Z-35E1000-C-A3 Each - 22.1V running at 350mA 7.735w Driver - ...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space

Hi guys, I am looking to build a small grow light to cover a 1sq ft grow space. Looking to use hard LED strips. Due to space requirements I need some small length strips and beleive these should do the trick - https://www.digikey.co.uk/product-detail/en/bridgelux/BXEB-L0280Z-35E1000-C-A3/976-1493-N...

Re: Building first LED to cover 1 sq ft grow space

Really appreciate the quick responses. You could not have explained it any better so thank you very much. I must admit you have tempted me with the Samsungs... 181lm/W sounds so good. How hard would it be to wire these all up as you said? I haven't really done anything like that before but I do lear...
