Re: Help : Vegetative growth / High-powered DIY Light

If you purchase and A/B driver you can increase the forward voltage slightly if required so the 20V driver will be fine if its an A/B

Re: Boards not pulling correct power

The dim pot may have also failed, disconnect it and tape up the wires so they can not short and check that too if no success

Re: Bridgelux thrive spd

For veg 4000K and above works well in a cri90. It depends alot on how you want to grow. I wouldn't worry about using the thrive spectrum for veg alone personally. Blue=short tight internodes, red=longer internodes and taller plants. This is why CRI90 4000k works, the balance is about right for veg. ...

Re: Bridgelux thrive spd

I want to test some of these thrive strips so let me know if they are available anywhere, without a big MOQ @TEKNIK Did you get round to testing these? I'm looking for some 90+ CRI strips available in the UK and my options only really seem to be Gen 2 tunable Vestas or the Thrive strips, both with ...

Re: PIR Sensors - 12v vs 240v

You can do it either way. A 240v PIR sensor will keep the driver turned off until it needs to be used and will end up using less electricity. You need to ensure that you do the wiring correctly and have electrical knowledge to do so.

12V PIR are pretty common now days too and easier to install

Re: LED strip reflector test

Light travels until it hits something, when it hits something part of it is absorbed and the rest reflected. So yes you can increase the light to a certain area by using reflectors but keep in mind that light will be absorbed by the reflector. Its worth doing in certain situations but not in other s...

I have purchased and tried many different types of night lights, but none have satisfied me yet. So, I hope...
