Re: Making the best of a dumb situation...

https://www.cutter.com.au/product-category/led-emitter/bridgelux-leds/eb-series/ Cutter may make you a good deal on these to get rid of them as they are an old model At first glance they don't seem much better performance for the price, but I have nothing to lose in asking, so I did, waiting for th...

Re: Making the best of a dumb situation...

I tend to overboard with how many strips I suggest, it does make a difference to how it all works together that's why I say to use so many, you could run the cutter strips hard upto 1 Amp each so that would only be 3 per driver providing you have the heatsink. It depends on your budget. They do wor...

Re: Making the best of a dumb situation...

Cool, thanks. If I may ask, what setup are you running, and at what power level and distance? Teknik has me scared with his recommendation of 8 strips and I know better than to dispute him. Debating moving back towards the f562b just for availability of data and cheap strips. Per Diode is cheaper wi...

Re: Making the best of a dumb situation...

Whenever you can run more leds softer its a good idea to do it. Better spread and efficiency, diffused light and lower hanging height all compounds into "sum is greater than parts" benefits. This is exactly why I’m going for a strip build; better distribution. I was hoping to get a minimal strip co...

Re: Making the best of a dumb situation...

Need to let people know your room size including height, if you have a VEG and flower room ect. There are multiple options available and if you like to solder and play around with electronics and building frames then the J series strips from Cutter are a good option. Another suggestion is to mix bo...

Re: Making the best of a dumb situation...

Man, thanks a lot for that. That all looks so tidy and perfect. Your girls look great! You must be quite proud. Mine is... not. It's sort of been a comedy of errors over here. Someone randomly showing up with plants in the middle of winter really set the stage. But those panels look great anyway, ar...

Re: Wireless dimming / Arduino / Development board

Well, I'm really very far from an expert, but I am somewhat proficient and I'd be happy to help however I can if you post questions and tag me. I used to repair ele...
