Re: SpARF - The modular strip fixture
@Welight One of my autos produced 9.8 oz of useable bud. That will help with the naysayers.

Re: SpARF - The modular strip fixture
Welight feel free to share them. These lights are truly amazing. (Plus I get 20% off my next order, right?) 🤣 Nuggie Depends on the grower and the plants. One plant was over 24” wide at the bottom. Some separation of the ribs was necessary once I noticed she had outgrown the light path. Each strip ...

Re: SpARF - The modular strip fixture
For a small space with a couple of plants it works. Not really useful for the folks growing in a large warehouse with hundreds of plants.
One thing to note from my pics with only 2 plants... the large plant on the left had 12 strips aimed at her. The plant on the right had only 8.

Re: SpARF - The modular strip fixture
I also want to point out the fact that the strips are not at any kind of calculated distance apart from each other... I placed them using the “that-looks-good” methodology. Damn be the folk who think they need some “photon placement perfect” design.

Re: SpARF - The modular strip fixture
Light waste is unavoidable in my situation but that is because I run lower power and was trying to keep the strips ~8” from the plants. If the plants were taller, light waste would have been reduced. 😉 Strips at 12” vs the 22” ones I have would make things even more controllable to reduce light wast...

Re: SpARF - The modular strip fixture
I moved them 4 times along the spine. First two was part of the “figure this out” learning at the beginning. Then when my tent went from 3 plants to only two plants, I made two more adjustments. But the reality is, the movements were only inches. Since building these lights, I have been learning wha...

Re: SpARF - The modular strip fixture
Thought I’d show some results from these lights.
As you can see, these have yielded some incredible results.
I’ll note that I am a licensed medical grower in Canada with legal recreational laws.

Re: What affects growth direction?
Ya. That tip was directly under the 5000k strip. I don’t know if it was light color or light stress, but something made it go freaky-deeky.

Re: Mounting drivers to wall
Currently I ended up using an old wire rack shelf. Made sure to mount it up above head level.

Thanks @TEKNIK. I’ll have to start some sampling.
