Types of connectors?
My grow space consists of a wire rack . So far, I only have LED strips on a single level of the wire rack, but I want to start adding lights to the rest of the levels so I have more plant space :) I want to power Bridgelux EB gen3 strips placed on each level of the wire rack from a single power supp...

Re: LEDs for a 10x20in tray
I'd be interested in trying to see which size works best. Can you please share the IES files for the 560mm and, if not too much hassle, the improvised ones for 280mm? Huge thanks TEKNIK! Though on second thought, the 280mm would be sufficient... I can always use two of those to get the same effect ...

Re: LEDs for a 10x20in tray
IES files for the 560mm strips sound great... please TEKNIK, I'd love to try to work out the spacing on DIALUX. Do you also have any IES files for 280mm strips?

Re: LEDs for a 10x20in tray
Sphagnum bogs ( example pic )are acidic and deprived of nutrients, which is why they don't grow almost any trees or tall foliage. Sphagnum can grow in full sun, and in my experience, growing it in shade leads to small/weak strands and poor coloration. Since sphagnum is a moss and has no root system,...

LEDs for a 10x20in tray
I am growing live sphagnum moss (sphagnum rubellum) in a 1020 tray so that I can use it to top dress my plants. So far, I've been using a cheap LED panel from amazon, but it gets too hot and burns the moss, and it's too inefficient. Looking into the possibility of getting something better for the mo...

Re: LED strips for a 4x1.5ft area
Thanks again for all the awesome info. Currently planning on getting the following: Driver XLG 200-24-A ($37.10 from Jameco ) I couldn't find the AB model for sale anywhere. But being able to adjust the current limit should be sufficient and I don't have a need for dimming so this should be ok? LED ...

Re: LED strips for a 4x1.5ft area
Great info, TEKNIK and The_Mouse_Police. If I understood correctly, to run 6 strips, I'd configure the current to 4200mA (700mA x 6) and wire them in parallel. Should a strip fail for whatever reason, every remaining strip would get 840mA, which is still fine. Since the EB Gen 3s have a max current ...

Re: LED strips for a 4x1.5ft area
CV is a little ticky when it comes to fine tuning the output current, but is easier to deal with for changing the configuration. How do you fine tune the output current when using CV? Also, I read that, when using CV, the current of the LEDs can change as the lights heat up. Could that end up causi...
