Re: Europe custom DIY Fixtures
Why you would spend 1.6-1.7k to get 1.5g/w. This can you do even better with a lot of CXB3590 at low power. I have run always within 1,7-2g/w with 9 cxb@1,2*1,2 on 1050mA. If you lower the power you can even use more of these to get a better uniformity of light but for me these works like crazy I w...

Re: Europe custom DIY Fixtures
Right now, I think Prawns boards are the best. I would add some monos for end of day and maybe UVA but that's all. 4 in your larger tent would be good, you could probably get away with 2 in the smaller tent. Quality of his boards are the best I have seen also Don't stress about grams per watt so mu...

Re: Europe custom DIY Fixtures
You can easily reach 3 micromouls per joule using Cree XPG3 LEDs and have a really red spectrum. The reason everyone is adding 660nm is to increase efficacy. If you are not worried about spectrum and more worried about efficiency then that's the sacrifice. Your other option is to run a hell of alot...

Re: Europe custom DIY Fixtures
unkle_psycho The main reason is because I wanted a super efficient fixture capable of >3 micromol/J . I discovered these high CRI Nichia boards from Curtter just a couple days ago and they for sure seem to be crazy! But I also heard that high CRI is not that efficient so I may need a mix to have a ...

Re: Europe custom DIY Fixtures
Don't worry about that,I only asked just because me and Random had almost a deal for two fixtures made with PrawnConnery's high CRI boards. And yeah he's not around even there since August I guess... I just hope everything is ok besides business.

Re: Europe custom DIY Fixtures
I think they moved to the closed forum? To the OP, you might want to have a look at the tunable 3 way strips cutter has, they have one channel of 2000k, one of 97cri 5000k and one with 660/730. They also have some tunable QB's that you can probably get as a semi assembled kit. Do you have a link fo...

Re: Europe custom DIY Fixtures
That's good! Wich strip would you suggest me to have instead of H inFlux L06 an S 03 and L09? I'm pretty ignorant regarding LES tech and I figured out the setup above together with Randomblame. Are Nichia's more efficient then LM301b? I will drive them very low: 495mA on my 100x100 tent and 525 in m...
