Re: Full spectrum LED strips tape for growing succulents and indoor plants
Hey! So admittedly I have only been in the LED game for a few years. I still even ask questions about durability and people's experiences with chips to get an overall picture of peoples' performance with new chips and power LED drivers. I believe I saw a link which led to a product with the "first ...

Max Ratings
So I'm up tonight fiddling. Decided to change my COB selection from a CXM-32 to a CXM-22 . This brings the max current rating from 4.5A down to 3.5A respectively. I'm still intending to use the same ELGC-300-M-A driver, and so this brings the COBs closer to their max current potentially (again I'm n...

Re: New build, work in progress.
You put some serious work into this! Not sure what you're growin' but have you considered a spot for drying beef jerky yet if needed. ;) Wish I could see the pieces you are wanting to join together. Is this something you could build from a thin piece of aluminum using a dremel tool? otherwise *cough...

Re: Switch from CC to Constant Power driver?
I'll boot it up lowest power and take readings of both voltage and amperage as I increase the output. I'll track how it behaves and will share. I've got a few gadgets here. Volt meters, DIY spectrometer which works surprisingly well. I'm going to get a PAR reader this month to see just how much ligh...

Re: Switch from CC to Constant Power driver?
I wouldn't worry about the voltage. ALL led drivers will adjust their voltage output to match what the LEDs want, that's their job, CC, CV, or CP doesn't matter. It gets trickier to figure out what a CP driver will do because it has a range of both voltages and currents that it can change to hit th...

Switch from CC to Constant Power driver?
Howdy! New member here! I'm going to be around a while to learn and share! I currently have a DIY grow light I built which currently employs two MeanWell Drivers. The ELG-240-C2100A & ELG150-C1050A . Each driver runs its own series of 3 COBs, and are dimmable. Total wattage: 345 Heatsink for 6 chips...
