Re: First timer Samsung H Series LED light strip build help
Here's how I made mine : I used a higher volt driver so I could add the red diodes.

Re: First timer Samsung H Series LED light strip build help
If I added 3 more strips and got up closer to 300 watts would this be a decent build? Or should I consider returning everything and starting my build over. Sorry for the newbie questions. I wouldn't mind keeping the Samsung lights because they were suggested in one of the articles but I also don't ...

Re: Driver for (9) QB288 V2
5x5 area. 25 sq feet. Really? 3 of those drivers?? Somethings not adding up. I’ve seen most drivers cost around $100 for running 3-4 lights. The driver I posted is around 200$. I plan on running around 50 Watts a squar foot. 25 square feet x 50 watts = 1250 Watts I don’t want to run the lights or d...

Re: Help wanted with these linear strips
When I looked at their specs it said only 126lm/w. That doesn't sound so good. THeir good ones are around 200lm/w. So I guess it s how cheap are they ...?

Re: Drivers, LEDs and tents, OH MY!
You are better off getting those without the red, it will be more efficient I know dammit ... but they were out ... I figured fuck it -so cheap - 3 of them $88 to my door in about 7 days after I agreed to having red and sent the order. Oh and then I scored a HLG 320 48ab driver new for $75 shipped :)

Re: Samsung L2 Horticulture Modules Build
Hey Falcon and Greengenes, thanks for the reply! I get lost in Volts and Amps! Both of your suggestions where what i had in mind. I think i prefer the 2 driver option so that it is more versatile. So I guess a good bet would be 2 MeanWell HLG-320H-42B each powering 6 L2 modules (SL-B8R5C9H2AWW). An...

Re: Drivers, LEDs and tents, OH MY!
Oh that sucks they're gone .... I just recently got 3 LM301B boards off Alibaba, now we know the they probably aren't the best bins and the red is epistar - But ... I got them in about a week and they appear legit. I just got them today so haven't been able to try them. The company was recommended b...

Re: Drivers, LEDs and tents, OH MY!
The QB V1 288 with lumileds are pretty friggin good I can report as well... they're 29$ ea. THis plant has been flowered under them - there is a chinese knock off 240 next to it too - but 90% of the light is right from the QBV1. I'm running 3 of them on a HLG 240 driver. alu sheet and 2 bars.. littl...

Re: Need help to make PCB stars ~
Yes, you need to go through the data sheets to find out about the bins. Flux bin is not enough of an indication, voltage bin matters too. It depends on how fussy you want to get. Some data sheets are easier than others to read. If you are in USA I guess rapid led would be the easiest choice I don't...
