Did I miscalculate?

I had a meanwell PCD-60-1050B (https://www.meanwell.com/productPdf.aspx?i=251#1) driver that I use to use with some side lighting. I wanted to repurpose it for a 2' x 2' veg light. I bought 3 Bridgelux EB gen 3 slim 590mm strips, BXEB-L0590U-50E1500-C-C3, (https://www.bridgelux.com/sites/default/fil...

Re: photoboost strips in Europe

Pretty sure you can use a US reshipper to get photoboosts, they were in stock the other day. They have no problem shipping to a reshipper last I checked.

Re: Bridgelux EB Gen 2 Build, Not pulling expected wattage

Forgot how inefficient DC is. Yeah, its pretty much 10ft. Ill have to work out how much I need to shorten it. Had the driver fixed to a board which is hooked over the top of the radiator. Looks like it will be getting fixed to the wall closer to the tent instead, which I was trying to avoid. Appreci...

Re: Bridgelux EB Gen 2 Build, Not pulling expected wattage

You are right. They are measuring 19.2V across the strips. I only have a cheap multimeter so it only has a 10A fuse. So I cant check A out of the driver. Its measuring exactly 20V out of the driver. Anything from above that could be causing it? How much does length of cable play into it? I can proba...

Re: Bridgelux EB Gen 2 Build, Not pulling expected wattage

I used 14 AWG from driver to fixture. At fixture its split using a 3 way wago to two 5 way wago's again using 14AWG. From there each powers 10 strips using 22AWG.

Ill go check the voltages.

Bridgelux EB Gen 2 Build, Not pulling expected wattage

Hi guys, I bought the parts to build myself a 2' x 4" grow light a few months back. Finally found the time to put the thing together. Thought everything had gone to plan but when I have checked the wattage draw it is not what I anticipated. I have 20x Bridgelux EB gen 2 3000k 24" (BXEB-L0560Z-30E2000...
