Re: Cheaper alternative to Atlas Scientific?
Hey saitama, How is the PH Meter holding up, I just read on their website that a user has been using this in their aquarium 24/7 for over a year now with great results. Can you give us an update please? Thanks Sorry for the late reply. PH meter still going strong. My only complaint is that it doesn...

Re: DIY Grow Room Automation w/ Node-Red
I’ve also been tinkering with my PWM fan control. I’m now using a MOSFET (must be logic level, I’m using digi-key part number IRLZ44NPBF-ND http://d.digikey.com/c01Q0BQS3NpX0Z7KS053y00) and a PWM pin on an ESP32 and it works well. Hello There I want to thank you for your extensive videos and docs! ...

Re: Cheaper alternative to Atlas Scientific?
The case is just some generic project box I bought from Amazon.
With the industrial probe 'pro', you can leave it submerged for a year, with a recalibration at six months. Good enough for me.

Re: Cheaper alternative to Atlas Scientific?
I just threw together a sensor using the dfrobot v2 ph kit (3.3v) and bought their 'pro' sensor. Using an ESP32, ADC1115 and esphome, it was easier than expected. I currently have it in my res with my pump and there is no drift. I just put it in, so I will keep you guys updated on how accurate it is...

Re: atlas scientific sensors esphome
Damn, I just did this same thing with the dfrobot ph sensor using esphome but via an ADS1115 ADC.
This is super valuable information! thank you!

Re: Cheaper alternative to Atlas Scientific?
I just checked out dfrobot. Their sensors are indeed cheaper and look promising but for both their pH & EC sensors, it was stated that... " Attention: 1.The probe is a laboratory-grade probe. Do not immerse in liquid for a long time. Otherwise this will shorten the life of the probe. 2.Platinum bla...

Re: Controlling AC Infinity Fan and BN-Link smart sockets?
I'm running Sonoff S31s and BNLink BNC60s as well. They're epic value. I flashed the S31s using the solder method but the BNlinks can be flashed OTA using the method linked above. I feel the Sonoffs are better quality -- just a feeling.

Re: Cheaper alternative to Atlas Scientific?
Check out dfrobot. I plan on monitoring ph/ec through their products initially and then upgrading to atlas sensors later on.

Re: Home Assistant using PC
I run HA on a hyperV VM in my Windows 10 Plex server and have zero complaints. I used their vhdx package and installation was very simple, quick and painless.
