Re: Anyone know about LUXEON sunplus 2835 line?
@GARDENFIRELED Man those are some rough words. Instead of trashing someone who a lot of people consider a subject matter expert. Why don’t you tell us your qualifications to make these remarks? I’m very curious as you seem to know a lot but you will have to let everyone in on your qualifications to...

Re: Lumileds SunPlus 560 mm Supplemental LED Strip Build and Test
I didn't find anything in the 420nm in a 2835 but I did find a decent UVB in that size VioSys Z5 LEDs. Did U go with the 2835 over the 2020 or 3535 for price or? Thanks for the reply. The 2835 package was chosen for availability and price of both LEDs and Prebuilt / Pre-Engineered PCBs (Had already...

Re: Lumileds SunPlus 560 mm Supplemental LED Strip Build and Test
Cheers Any reason U didn't leave a couple Sammy's on the board? (I haven't looked at the data sheets I imagine they have dif electrical requirements?) Didn't need the additional White LEDs (intended use as PC-Red Supplement) and also the Polarity (Anode - Cathode) is reversed as noted in the OP... ...

Re: Lumileds SunPlus 560 mm Supplemental LED Strip Build and Test
Nice work and great idea! The link for the Samsung strips is like 6 bucks though U mentioned 50 cents? Maybe I'm reading this wrong So U basically upgraded the Samsung strips with the surplus line? So U ended up with spare Samsung diodes? I must have missed something Thanks Thanks. Just got the Sam...

Re: Anyone know about LUXEON sunplus 2835 line?
Buddies are available in PC red. They are cheap and come in at about 2 micromouls per joule. Because of the optics on Buddies it makes them much better for suppliment strips as they blend better into normal white strips or boards. https://growlightsaustralia.com/product/buddies/ Im working on a blu...

Re: Anyone know about LUXEON sunplus 2835 line?
The sunplus 2835s do not use the most efficient chips. They have nice colours but will be poor efficiency These LEDs would work for my use / application supplementing White LED strips, even being less efficient, especially since they are more readily available at my location (US). Cutter had some P...
