So you would only use a few different whites and the PC Red and also a 420 violet why is that? Just Curios, what size, output and type of light fixture are you planning on building? Thanks. I'm a Noob at LED Lights but have been both gardening and working with SELV circuits for several decades and I learn by doing... :) BTW, This Spectrum (PC Red and 420 nm Violet) IMO is all that you would need to supplement any 80 CRI (or some 90 CRI) White LED Light; https://ledgardener.com/forum/d...

You are right, a good CRI90 means there is no need for PC red. This is why you will often see me suggest to people to go for 2700K CRI90 PC red does have its role but alot of the time things can be changed so it is not needed especially for top lights. I would like to run multiple colours on the same strip. At first just multiple seperate drivers but when my knowledge progresses I would like to build a single seperate control/power box.
