Thanks Peter. What do you mean by the strip insulation being 60? I was aware of the 8 strips being at the upper end of the driver range, but not sure what you mean by the strip insulation. Also, I'm running at 700ma, so I read the max voltage as 41 * 8 = 328, within the driver range of 357. @Vanster...

This is straightforward series circuit. Circuit.JPG I presume they are from the same batch. They were all ordered from Digikey at the same time. Not sure if the detail printed on the strip indicates the batch number, by here they are from the bright strip and a regular strip. Regular: Good one.jpg B...
