Re: QB288 v2 rspec help please.

I run mine at 125 watts each (x4) and they are very warm but you can touch them without issue (mounted on 1/4x8x14 inch aluminum bar stock). I have cranked them up to 155 or so and they start getting much hotter but the light output is not a linear ratio so as mentioned earlier the efficiency suffer...

Re: Quantum Board Light Troubleshooting

Did you figure this out? You need a way to monitor the voltage and current to properly determine if it's the board or driver. I would say odds are it is the LEDs (do you know the brand of diodes?) especially with those covers that are probably trapping in some heat. If so you could rebuild them as t...

Re: 3 QB288 : HLG-185h-c1400b?

What is the nominal and max voltage of the LED board and the max rated current? The actual wattage each board requires at the desired light level is what you need to aim for. If those boards top out at 65 watts each then that driver should work.

Re: QB 288 V2 Rspec driver question

What about something a little less complicated that you would wire out remotely offering potentially less heat and weight on your fixture. I'm thinking something along these lines...
