The strips are stuck down to a Aluminium Channel 1.1/2'' x 1'' x 1/8" (38.1mm x 25.4mm x 3.18mm) with thermal tape. Not sure how much of a heatsink effect this will have on the lights. Looking at the data sheet for the led light, does the Typical Power (W) section mean that it is at that level we should not exceed?
Or if the power was to exceed, what would the conditions be?

The wires were crossed from the driver to the light.
Swapped them around and vola!

Would that mean I should be good to use it out the box, but I should really use a multi-meter and limit it down to 39v from the bottom Io while maxing out the Potentiometer?
