Re: any experience with atlas-scientific (wi-fi-hydroponics-kit)

Hey guys, had a power outage last night and the Atlas Scientific probes didn't take it well. I'm not home at the moment to troubleshoot but can VPN in to have a look around. Seems like the mcu ( 8266 huzzah i think) in the kit hasn't managed to reconnect to wifi (logged into pfsense to look for the ...

Re: Nutrient dosing with an RDWC system

I ended up zeroing in on a dose that bumped the ppm by 100 and then set up an automation to add that dose whenever the ppm drops to 1100, simple enough but maybe this will help someone else out at some point

Re: Nutrient dosing with an RDWC system

For now, I've just set up some timers for various timeframes, automations to turn on the dosing pumps while the timer is active, and to turn the pumps off when the timer is complete (idle). This way I can at least do the math in my head and then easily dose for a specified amount of time. To loop th...

Nutrient dosing with an RDWC system

Hey guys, just finishing up my nutrient mixers and got my dual peristaltic pumps in. I had planned on just plugging the pump into one of my tp-link smart plugs and then using HA to control it but I also have an athom smart plug, so I could use tasmota if controlling it using mqtt would be better. Si...

Re: any experience with atlas-scientific (wi-fi-hydroponics-kit)

Just a quick update... I have managed to calibrate my sensors through the console on tasmota directly... still need to work on the mqtt to get it done through a button on home assistant side though. But hey its working and calibrated :) Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen How did you man...

Choice between Atlas Scientific EC probes

Hey guys, looks like Atlas Scientific has 3 different models of their EC probes: Conductivity probe K 0.1 Conductivity probe K 1 Conductivity probe K 10 Looks like either of the first two should work well for hydroponic purposes but I figured I'd just pose the question to the group which one I shoul...

Re: Compensated readings with Atlas EZO + Tasmota + Node Red

Thanks for sharing. I just got my barebones wifi kit in from atlas scientific and was just about to order in just the ec probe for it but it sounds like I should just pull the trigger on temp as well. I wasn't expecting such a wide swing in ppm based on the temp. I'm sure ill have some questions for...

Re: any experience with atlas-scientific (wi-fi-hydroponics-kit)

You managed to hook up 4 dosing pumps to the wifi hydroponics kit? I thought it could only control one I echo the big thanks to stud and others. I have Tasmota running and can control my Atlas hydroponics kit. I have four Atlas PMPs attached and can issue them commands from the Tasmota console to di...

Re: wifi dosing pump

I'm thinking about ordering a sonoff 4ch pro and flashing it with tasmota or esphome and having it control the 4 peristaltic pumps on the jebao dp4s. Any reason to not go down that path? i really dont know, and it does not say nothing on its aliexpress page if it's a esp32 or esp8266 inside ,i would...
