Re: New build, work in progress.

I was gifted a Tall Trees LED Co Harvester bar, "205W from the wall." I wasn't convinced a bar light was really well suited for this build and I wanted it to fit a 2x2 space so a little hacksaw time gave me this: PXL_20220715_040316406.jpg Its' voltage and current needs are matched by my currently i...

Re: Controlling a portable AC

Not quite there yet, life's intruding. Got all the parts, just need to sit down, cobble the parts together, and bang out some code.

Should I start an instagram or something?

Re: Help with EB Gen 2 build

Tip: put two 280mm strips in series first, then parallel the pairs. This will bump up the voltage to ~40V so use a -42 driver. This will reduce the amount of wiring and reduce the voltage loss over small wires.

Re: Help with EB Gen 2 build

Yes, you can double them up. Two of the 280mm strips in parallel is equivalent to one 560mm strip.

Re: Meanwell Dimming with ESP32

An esp8266 can only output up to 3.3V on its gpio output. Without any additional hardware to raise that pwm signal to 10V, you will only get about the lower third output capacity of the driver.

Wire to the strips should be series or parallel?
How they should be wired depends on how they're wired now, can you identify that?

Capacitive soil sensors

Someone has this interesting thread on how to protect these sensors , as they don't exactly have the best long-term durability.

Re: New build, work in progress.

Chopped! I gave up on canopy management of the left side, didn't get around to installing a second layer of netting and it just went chaotic.
