Re: Extraction

Sure, butane works. Get a good blast tube with a perfectly fitting hole for the butane can nozzle. Remove all stems and break up nugs by hand carefully. Pack the everloving shit out of the tube. You don't want air passages of little resistance. Use enough butane and have a large enough can to keep a...

Day 16 in the tester tent. One of the Jacks' Cleaner plants has a bright lemon smell going on. Debating some defoliation for these soon. Testers_Day16.jpg Day 61 in the big tent. Pulled down about half the plants starting day 57. Should finish them up by day 65 if I let some of these go that long bu...

Re: Samsung LH351B Red strips?

Here's some little mounting bases boards you could place some to yourself I guess. Most everyone still seems on the cree reds implemented into solutions in our bubble. :( https://www.led-mounting-bases.com/en/search?controller=search&category_filter=0&orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=lh35...

Re: Help me to build my dream setup!

Just a quick my idea notes. This is considering you want something toward the budget end of the highest tech. Just the core drivertrain components for you here. Strip build utilizing Bridgelux EB Gen 2 strips 560mm in 3500K. Would work great for veg and flower alike. 108 - BXEB-L0560Z-35E2000-C-B3 (...

Re: ChilLed Tech 125w boards

I've followed ChilLED Vitaly and Mau5, and considered the simplified single channel Logic puck designs more recently released. Seeing them respositioning these older fancy ChilLED boards a little lower priced and DIY tailored, makes me wonder where they are at as far as moving with the market to mor...

Re: Opinions on thermal tape

My bad i was going off a 2" to mm conversion not thinking those double wide strips aren't actually as near the real 2". I think the 2.079" looks plenty ideal, if that's what you got. Lower cost and lower height profile and plenty of sinking ability, it's like a double wide + version of the 1" profil...

Re: Flowering issues

Yeah it's spot on the water stress then if you are going bone dry to soaked every 12 hours. Can you adjust the automated watering to finish these off? Try less water every 6 hours or some variation to keep moisture levels from hitting full soak and desert dry so frequently. You want as much time in ...

Re: Flowering issues

If the potting mix is really only peat and perlite you should consider adding some actual nutrition to the soil IMO. 1/3 of that should be nice fresh organic material like leaf mold compost or fungal dominated compost. You can also add some organic fertilization beyond that with something simple ilk...

Re: I mean, come on

Playing with this Atreum Lighting board I've mounted in the square COB frame, and stem rubbing the new testers. Way too much power potential in this fixture now it's like 595 watts at the wall with everything cranked. I tried to tune it all to about 55-60w per emmiter, so about 300 watts total...

Re: potentiometer question

The Rapid LED one should also work fine. I've used some on 2 driver configs and they have a bit of dead spot at the end but otherwise seem fine.
