Re: I mean, come on
I tried a scrog screen, but didn't have the best of luck with it. I do end up liking to be able to move the pots. I think more bamboo will do. A little less overcrowding will probably help as well. I've still got lots of dialing in to do after switching to these LED's in here. I got the fixtures set...

Re: LM301B board that we've been working on
T Pain in the club. Got my driver and spent a bit of time test firing. Have been dealing with a little clan of spider mites trying to cut my flowering time short in the big tent, keeping them at bay long enough to get into ripeness window but it's a lot of work hawk-eyeing plants and double guessing...

Re: potentiometer question
Good idea to take a deep breath. Honestly, you are confusing me when you keep referring to 'pots' (plural) as if there are multiple 25K ohm potentiometers that you have purchased and intend to use, however your intended configuration parameters which lead you to choose the 25K ohm pot are based arou...

Re: potentiometer question
My opinion would be grab 3 of these 10 turn precision 100K ohm pots, with 5% +- tolerance instead of 10% like most cheaper ones, you could also grab (3) 5K ohm resistors if you want to guarantee you can max out each driver. Put one on each driver. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3590S-2-104L-100K-Ohm-Preci...

Re: Auto-build COB lamp - less watt then calculated?
If you remove the pots and cap off each end of the leads individually you should have it running at 100% on the drivers that way, yes. You could try that and double check all the series wiring is done sound. Did you notice if all the cobs light up for instance? Sometimes wiring one in backwards in t...

Re: Auto-build COB lamp - less watt then calculated?
Hey. Looks like you've got a sensible set up. The drivers should be able to effectively run the COBs as described if they are in series circuits. Have you wired them up this way? Double check that part. Do you have both drivers run in parallel to the AC mains through one power plug, that you are the...

Re: Opinions on thermal tape
The tapes I've seen usually have a thermal conductivity of around 1.5 w/mK which is similar to the Sur-Seal pads commonly used with COBs. It's not great compared to good pastes but it's fine for any common sense strip builds that I've seen, as they don't have all that much concentrated heat to begin...

Re: I mean, come on
I do have silica in the mix. It's looking like in the future I'll just put a stake on every single top cola in the 30 day's of flower range. Took a few new pictures today it's day 50 for me. I have 2 plants of each of most all phenos this run so I'll probably pull 1 a few days early, then the other ...

Vegged with Vero 3500K. Was vegged for a month at least from clones that were kept small and slower growing for a while before that.
