Re: Upgrading driver
Looks fairly solid choice. I'm a constant current nerd for whatever reason and you could go series on an HLG-120H-C1400B I suppose. Don't know which way you could squeeze the most out of them. Does maxing the modules to 1.575A on the CV driver push them up to the 25V number, so you can't max it out?...

Re: Which driver ‘drivers would you recommend for 6 QB288 V2 quantum boards?
Everything went great here. I'm using the Remington pre-tinned wire from Amazon. Good stuff. Lots of people go with the Shaxon brand but you may want to tin your tips if you can with that or other non tinned stuff. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010T5ZDVQ/ref=s9_acsd_simh_hd_bw_bKkmhP_c_x_w?pf_r...

Re: Which driver ‘drivers would you recommend for 6 QB288 V2 quantum boards?
Don't think the 5 or 6 feet will be problematic if you are using nice 18 gauge solid core. I'm going to be mounting the drivers on the slate heatsinks in the standard config, however. I have some fans that will be running active cooling right on the slate and driver. I grabbed the drivers from Rapid...
Re: EB Gen 2
Going to expand on this build with another EB Gen 2 light that will cover 2 shelves with 1 driver, run without heatsinks, since Arrow has a bit of a summer sale going, and this seems like a great bang for the buck build maintaining a good efficiency on the driver, albeit a high price per watt for sa...

Re: confusion about driver selection
There was just a little discussion about whether the HLG-320H-C2100B can run 3 v2's in series within the driver's voltage range and it's just barely inside the range (76 ~ 152V) for that driver at those voltages. Usually HLG recommends adding a 1v tolerance per board, which is what would set you abo...

Yep yep there's the Occam's razor.
I'm sure I'll be fine with the 2100.
Thanks G

Re: 4x6 bridgelux build questions
Sounds like you'll be able to cut your overall heat for sure from the old setup. Something else to consider with the drivers is if you are on 115v level of power they can have an ever so slight bump in efficiency of some models of the Meanwell drivers at around 70-85 percent vs 100 percent wide open...

Re: 4x6 bridgelux build questions
With more diodes overall (and/or newer more efficient diodes) you would be able to run less watts more efficiently into the same overall light output, potentially. I think that's most of the key with that. But other than that can you up to bigger AC with headroom? I also noticed you said you're runn...

Re: Which driver ‘drivers would you recommend for 6 QB288 V2 quantum boards?
I've seen they like to run the cautious route, rating their boards well under absolute max and such. So maybe they still consider it cutting it too close for their builds and front line recommendation? Hopefully it is not because some of their boards test well above LEDG's measured specs and they kn...

It's also common to just interpolate between the 3 and 4.
