Samsung data sheet (from Digi-Key) says the number after the "S" indeed is "binning group". Googled around quickly and there actually seems to be S7 bin diodes. Don't know if they are "super efficient", it's extra 5,6 lumens per watt for 70cri model (for which I found the numbers).

Couple more questions... Is cri90 only available in COB-format? Couldn't find cri90 strips at Digikey and Samsung's data sheet doesn't list the option.
