Re: Hi everyone! Big things coming :)

Gorgeous lights- and great numbers. The only thing I see that I question in your design is that some wiring wraps outside the frame, making it vulnerable to damage. I would try to avoid running wires that way.

Re: Hacks to support overweight colas?

Ozone bombing it is. Not because of the mold (I cut another 3 tips of nice, fat colas because they were looking mushy / browning) but because I bumped into a neighbor who said "The corridor is smelling like Amsterdam". Mind you: two negative ion generators with HEPA filters, two carbon scrubbers, a...

Re: Hacks to support overweight colas?

I have a constant issue with the dehumidifier that would randomly fill up its internal rez (6L) instead of using the drainage pipe and then stop working. When that happens, about once a week, humidity skyrockets within hours. This thing is a major pain, making me go and check on it twice daily, and...

There is also this place. They do list Israel as a shipping country... Not sure if they really do. Good assortment of QB kits.

The cheapest I’ve found 3/4” x 3/4” x 8’ angle is Home Depot for something like $18.
It's $5.94 from onlinemetals.com

Re: Aluminum Frame DIY - HLG QB 288

JGG, Ahh, thanks for the picture man. I thought it might be something like this - and the way you said it, after thinking on it I thought "he must've mounted the aluminum angle on top of the slates, not actually sitting/laying in the "L" of the angle, like most(?) people do, and as shown in LED-G's...

Re: New POW R2 from Sonoff.

For any Sonoffs inside my lab, I cover the lights with electrical tape. The blue light isn’t the best color, though, is it. Others are green.
I also started using my POW R2 as a timer. I got tired of the way my mechanical timers did not keep good time, so the cycle was always shifting a little bit.

Re: Solderless potentiometer for Meanwell type B drivers

Soldering is really easy-and it’s cheap, too. It’s a good tool to have in your arsenal if you’re going to be doing lighting and electrical. I understand if you don’t want to, but thought I would point out that it’s the best way to connect wires. While I finish work on my lab, I’ve got my potentiomet...

Re: Thoughts on Extra Wide Board Layouts? First Build

That looks right on the money to me. I was wondering why most of the QB kits are arranged in such a narrow configuration.

Re: A Bunch of Seeds

That sounds good. One thing I am not sure of is when is the best time to install them. Obviously, I'm installing them later than I otherwise would, as the plants are already in flower now. Do you install them before transplanting to final pots, or wait until they're in their full sized pots ?
