What must be remembered when evaluating costs of these led systems, is that heatsink material, no matter if it's u channel or proper extrusions, cost money. Yes - that’s cool. I hadn’t thought of using them that way. I have a couple of the low voltage Sonoffs that have Inching too.

It does sound like you’re growing skunk or something. Those smells really make themselves known. I’d try some other strains. I haven’t had any really smelly ones yet.

I do have a dimmer. I have it set to run at about 300 Watts. It’s about 22” above the canopy. That picture makes it look high. I’ll turn it up later, perhaps, depending on the temperature. I set up my android phone webcam to detect motion. There is too much motion in a grow lab. I turned it off. Sound detection too.

Nice light ! I think the holes are a good idea- but you would need many more, and much larger to contribute to airflow.
