Re: Koada project (Open-source automation w/ RPI)

Hey, it's always a pleasure to meet other people who work for the same thing! Currently, the project isn't open-sourced & you can find more news about it here The first stage of the beta is finished & we're working hard to have a stable release during November. It took us more time than we thought. ...

Stopping nut before harvest?

I've read a lot of discussion about stopping nutrients 1-2 weeks before harvest & flushing. Do any of you have experience with this?

I don't want my buds to taste bad, but this looks more like stoner science to me. This is an interesting read on RIU.

Best veggies/fruits for perpetual productions

Do any of you have recommendations for veggies/fruits that could be cultivated inside a tent? One small entreprise in my town want me to set up a grow tent powered by led in their office. The goal is to have a production of veggies/fruits during winter & promoting local production (vs importing frui...

Re: 600 watt no heatsink F-series strip build finished

The light & the driver are producing a lot of heat in the room, but the strip itself is cold(30-35c). Going without heatsinks is probably always the best option you have in term of price/quality. Fluence recommends 20w per foot without co2, and 40w/f with co2. Genetics influence it too, I just had a...

Re: 600 watt no heatsink F-series strip build finished

The professional who tried this lamp had mixed results... We still don't have the dry results, but looks like we gonna get 1gr / watts. but maybe we're wrong and the buds are very dense. I wonder if the PPFD was too high or/and if the plants were root bounded... He was using 1.5 gallons pot for a on...

Constant Voltage Drivers with 2 Output Leads

Hey,

I just wanted to be sure: There is no problem to have 14 strips on 1 output lead and 12 on the other of my HLG-600-42b? Or is it mandatory to split the load by 2 perfectly?

Re: Koada project (Open-source automation w/ RPI)

Your water-cooling system sounds like a nicely engineered system! Do you have pictures? About diming A-type driver, I don't think there is any way to dim them remotely. You can use a relay if the driver isn't too powerful to just switch it on/off, but I can't think about others possibilities. I also...

Same product number as you. It's probably just Digikey adding the VAT to your price?
