Re: F and Q series test build
]Allright the build is done, well almost, I accidently ordered the wrong AC connector so I just used 2 wagos and it's not to shabby :) I tested the lamp for 5 minutes today, and I don't understand why it only draws 52w? 0,7 x 100 should be around 70w, no? However it works, is very bright and this wa...

Strip wiring
Does it matter which connectors on the strips I use for wiring (are the 2 +'s and 2 -'s the same)?

Re: F and Q series test build
Thanks JGG
Do you have a link to such a potentiometer?
I couldn't find any on my locally based online electronics store...
I have enough wagos and maybe even enough wire left from my QB's, for a serial build
Got the strips today![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Re: F and Q series test build
Thanks for your input
Would it be better to use a different driver, or do a parallel build?
Didn't spot that the driver is CC![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Re: F and Q series test build
Whoa, strips should be here tomorrow, that's hella fast half way around the globe shipping :D Found some thermal tape in the UK, so shipping here shouldn't take too long :) I've been looking at getting the HLG-60H-C700A https://www.tme.eu/en/details/hlg-60h-c700a/led-power-supplies/mean-well/ to pow...

Re: F and Q series test build
Thank you so much for your replies, learning a lot here :geek: You guys are awesome! @ShowMe Thanks for that heads up, I'm gonna check it out and see if I can figure it out  I was seduced by the Q-series efficiency and went out on a whim and ordered 10 of the 1' 3000K's costing me $68,48 :D I'm...

Re: Minimum required spectrum
3000K is the simple answer. Other than creating different photosynthtic processes in the plant, the different wavelengths also signal the plant to do certain things at certain times. In the blue spectrum plants use up to 70% of the available light, in the orange/red spectrum it uses up to 100% of th...

Re: F and Q series test build
Thanks for your reply
This is excactly what I'm wondering.
If it doesn't make sense I'm going to get Q-series, I'm thinking that 4x 2' would be a nice addition to 4x QB288 in a 4x4.

Q-series serial test build
Hi guys, hope you can help me out here :D I want to do a ''test'' build and test order from digikey to my country, so I'm ready for a full 4x4 build when I have the funds for that. I would like to place a small order with digikey over $60 I get free shipping, so in that neighborhood. I'm probably go...
