"LM561C" Boards and Strips from Bright and thoughts on dealing with Shenzen mfg's
Since the other thread about the custom spectrum 288 boards got buried, thought I'd mention that they were made by Shenzen Bright. They last company I decided to deal with from Shenzen (Alibaba). I would recommend them over both Meijiu and Bava, but haven't dealt with Hansion of Mufue before. Their ...

Re: After months of sourcing, my first batch of Chinese PCB's arrived
I see you chose to go with Meijiu for the boards. I have bought and sold their boards before, and have feedback from a customer that that board was brighter than a Closet Case 140 from spectrum king when hung side by side. The CC 140 was $200 more expensive than what I sold him my kit at (around $12...

Re: 4 x QB120 - Power Supply suggestions
If you are planning on running them altogether, the Meanwepl HLG 240-24A would work for parallel wiring. The HLG 240-c2100a would be the best for series wiring. If you’re able to solder a potentiometer, look to the B series HLG drivers, but idk what ohm resistor you may need. LEDG has videos posted ...

Re: Custom spectrum 288 boards (3000K 4000K 2700K) complete with sphere data.
cool stuff, but 150/135 lm/w don't sound like lm561c to me, or am i wrong? Yeah, was wondering the same thing when I first saw it. It could be the 2700K diodes bringing the lm/w down but I would have to see it side by side with a HLG 288's sphere data to know. Judging by the looks, what other diode...

Custom spectrum 288 boards (3000K 4000K 2700K) complete with sphere data.
Hey guys, been a while since I posted here about the various Shenzen "lm561c" boards from China and I'd thought I post what I have been up to. I recently was able to customize the spectrum of the 288 board, and came up with the outer 4 rows 3000K, middle 2 rows 2700K and a single row of 4000K in bet...
Re: Height
Is the driver you're dimmable? If i'm right they are about 36V boards being run at 2100mA on a constant current driver, giving you about 140 or so watts from the wall? If you have decent ventilation and a couple of fans try dropping it to 12" then put your hand at the canopy and see what the temp's ...

Re: Growmau5 100W 48V 2A pucks for $50 (220pc lm561C)
Okay, it’s a handy voltage and a good number of diodes on a small form-factor and at a decent price (even if it still requires the most expensive of heatsinks). Definitely a good way to pack a bunch of light into a small space... and will probably be a great compliment on COB builds. But it’s 100% ...

Re: Intro & Various "lm561C" board builds from Shenzen
i start to wonder if what i rather want is something like a H/F/Q-series strip but with an aluminum PCB instead. i found some suppliers claiming they use LM561c and 15*560mm aluminum PCB. these dimensions render them more universally usable for DIY compared to quantum boards, while retaining the go...
