Re: Growmau5 100W 48V 2A pucks for $50 (220pc lm561C)
I watched Gromau5 read this thread live on his Instagram stream last night. Pretty hilarious stream. OMG really? That's awesome, I feel so honored that the Supreme LED'er saw a post on the ledgardener forums. Hope he had good things to say. Actually, nvm. Dude could straight insult me to my face an...

Growmau5 100W 48V 2A pucks for $50 (220pc lm561C)
Anyone as excited about these as I am? Def gonna purchase a few when they drop, might need a few heatsinks though.

Re: F562B Build max lumens/watt
At first glance of your final two designs I thought 1.5A was pretty high to be running through a 2' strip temp. wise, but knowing there are 72 diodes per I don't think it would be a problem. Not sure though as I'm not familiar with the f-series strips (yet lol). Can't wait to see your finished produ...

Re: Intro & Various "lm561C" board builds from Shenzen
Thx for the info! I am interested to know what's the max current to run the board without heatsink. If they are cheap enough to be run at low currents they could be an alternative to strips, why not? Many diodes @ low currents = Same result as with strips, just easier mounting without heatsinks. I ...

Re: Driver question
Never knew they made wagos that big, cool. Perhaps some terminal got nudged and no longer connected, really makes no sense why it would work inside a tent and not out... Unless the different kelvin strips run at a different voltage, it should not really matter in parallel. What is the total size of ...

Re: Driver question
Whoa, 33 strip build? Things gonna be a beast, I think you're gonna need a lot of 5 port wago's very soon haha... Also, LEDG had a vid somewhere that he said when jumping them from wago to wago use at least a 14 gauge solid core at least. All connectors should be able to handle 20amps, but thats a t...

@ Jolly Green Giant, yeah ik what you mean alibaba is def a tough place to navigate  As far as them looking like photon phantoms, yeah similar but apparently there is a dude in Spain selling them under the name Heaven grow lights on ig. Perhaps Meiju is his mfg and I stumbled across it. They do...

Intro & Various "lm561C" board builds from Shenzen
Hello, I'm new to the forums but been lurking for a while having caught the LED bug. I can say everything I know I've learned from either youtube (growmau5, LED gardener, greengenes, gml) or forums, so just a diy and not expert on anything lol. Really just here to learn and share about my favorite h...

Re: One driver with two different led strips?
I was told by the guys at Photon Phantom designs that small changes in voltage equal big changes in current, and may lead to thermal runaway thus burning the diodes out quicker. I initially inquired them because they say not to run two of their different boards in parallel because of that issue. If ...
