Re: Ozone generators

The smell of ozone? What came to mind was the feeling on the skin when going inside a way-over-chlorinated pool, but happening in my nose and to my lungs. I finally got the adapters I needed to fit the little guy. (Oddly enough, non of the hardware stores had one but the growshop did. And it was MM,...

Play it by the ear. Minor leaf curling in veg shouldn't bother you too much (like minor over-feeding), as long as you have it in check and it doesn't look like it's getting worse. Same thing when going to flower: start at a safe distance (12"), then lower until the plant looks stressed. What normall...

Re: Hydro System Recommendations

My vote goes for coco+blumat tropf. As I've said here before, It's not perfect, but pretty close to it. No noise, no mechanical/electric parts that risk failing, no "sudden death syndrome" of rapid pH fluctuations. You set it up and just let it go. The plant effectively regulates how much water it g...

Ozone generators

As some might remember from previous posts and comments of mine, my grow space shares air with people who can potentially be nosey, so smell-control is a my top-most priority. While it's all pretty much under control for the moment (between two dehumidifiers, two negative ion generators, and two car...

Re: First diy setup, need opinions & help. Please.

3) My main concern is about strip rigidity, I don't know how the 4 footer one-row strip will bend without any profile support if I screw them in the center like in the schema. If anyone can do the test for us, it could be great! Getting plenty of strips so that you drive them soft enough to not use...

Re: Anybody in Europe for a bulk purchase?

Just looked back at teh thread and realized the price you payed.... I payed 250e, plus VAT, so I guess plus 20%, for 750w of Thomas Research Products drivers (10x75w) and a shit ton of vesta strips (9 x 2ft) (24 x 1ft)... No heatsink or other costs included thats 3w/e for drivers and strips. €0.33/...

Re: I want to build an LED light of 1000w (First time here)

Chances are its a rip off as most LEDs are usually poor quality [...] the 120 degree is not ideal for home growing most people like to use 90 degree [...] I would not recommend a new grower starting with LEDs its a very steep learning curve Even poor quality LEDs match HPS in terms of efficiency.
