Re: Heating in the winter
All excess production should be made into rick simpson oil and other medical products and given to sick people :) I'm yet to smell the flowers which are growing now, but I've been avoiding skunks precisely on account of smell. The smell I've been combating previously wasn't necessarily that of mari...

Re: New Samsung horticultural LED: LH351B Red
So tell me again how this isnt being in collaboration with Samsung? https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1538/8585/files/180423__Data_Sheet_HLG_Rev.0.1.pdf?9904275516232111854 No need to take any offense. This is the first time I'm seeing this document, which looks very promising. Like I said a couple...

All excess production should be made into rick simpson oil and other medical products and given to sick people :) I Used to rent an apartment from a church in the 90's, and the rest of the building was their administration. I grew in this 1m2 kitchen cupboard, and used the kitchen as the lung room....

HLG is working with samsung as well HLG buys Samsung components, sure, but that's not being in collaboration as claimed in the past. I drink coke, that doesn't make me a coke partner or collaborator. HLG make good products and the shit I've gone thru building everything DIY makes me appreciate the ...

Re: Heating in the winter
Cant you apply the concept of a lung room? Circulate between two warm spaces? That's an interesting idea, I'm already imagining a closed loop of two equally-sized tents... One could even be used to veg... Maybe, just maybe... But frankly, it's probably best if I grow less. I really don't have anyth...

Re: Automated Cloning cabinet
From what I understand, you'd want cooler light, say 4000k or maybe even 5000k for clones to reduce stretching. Honestly, you probably don't need anything too powerful or efficient for clones, so you might want to just go with those flexible LED strips that are already waterproof. I go with 5000K C...

Re: Heating in the winter
The reason I gave up on heating was because I need tight odor control. To do that I need constant negative pressure in the tent, to make sure all smell air goes thru a carbon filter (two, actually). (And then two negative ion generators, an ozone generator, and two dehumidifiers with HEPA filters.) ...

Re: Raspberry Pi Camera Module
Anybody got a couple of minutes to explain how they set up their live camera? I have a Pi0 with a v2 camera collecting dust for a month after giving up on it... (Tricky point: the pi is effectively on the same wifi network, but it has a different name as it's an off-shoot wifi thru a powerline adapt...
