Re: Strip led build for small space 2'x2' or 2'x1'

Wait! They should emit white, sorry had to look at spectrum graph twice. I'll definitely look into these!

If j wanted to include a fan.... Could it be run off the same driver?

Re: Strip led build for small space 2'x2' or 2'x1'

I'll be replacing 4 x 24w tubes. Not sure if that changes much. I'm also looking for LEDs that shine white as this will be in my office, I'll go nuts with red lighting of those LEDs you mention emit it

Re: Strip led build for small space 2'x2' or 2'x1'

I'm no electrical genius, which attracts me to these builds is their simplicity.... silly question to those with more expierence:

can I run a small fan from the driver that is also powering my led strips?

Re: Strip led build for small space 2'x2' or 2'x1'

Unkle and Shimbob, thanks for chiming in, i dont take this as being rude at all. These components costs add up quickly and I'd prefer to do this once, and right. I could use the same driver and add a couple of more strips and should be good to go methinks. And sure i can drive them at 75% or 50%, wo...

Re: Strip led build for small space 2'x2' or 2'x1'

For the sake of being safe, I input 100 percent load into the build formula and chose an adjustable driver.

Hi From Canada

Hi Everyone I'm interested in indoor growing in a 4x4 space, was curious about running HPS in the 600 - 1000w range but realized that will be too hot, use up too much energy and will lead to me needing to run an air conditioner etc which will just increase operation costs, no thankyou. I'm basically...
