Re: DIY "DIY 260w QB Kits"
"On the most recent GML show, I believe Steve/HLG, said that the 3000k boards will be available soon." "Yea, I think he did. 1000's of other people also have their cards ready. They'll probably sell out in hours, what do you think? I'm talking qb288 3000k; there'll probably be plenty of everything e...

Re: DIY "DIY 260w QB Kits"
Dang. If they came available, I would drive them at 2100mA rather than 2800mA. That’s too close to max for my comfort. The driver their kit comes with is plenty powerful for 2 boards. So, you could run 2x HLG-240H-C2100 drivers (each powers 2x QB288) or you could run 1x HLG-480H-C2100 for 4x Qb288,...

Re: Distance from canopy quantum board
I am in interested in pros and cons of lenses, and how various lenses might perform with the QBs. I gather that there is a trade-off, i.e. lenses may direct more light downward towards the canopy(rather that losing it off to the sides)but the downsides are a loss of light transmission, of probably a...

Re: NEW HLG light 11% better??
Wonder if the new light is using the new 324 boards, and what it will cost compared to the 550?
Re: QB324
Thanks, didn't see it specified, and they appeared possibly different, but might be just the perspective of the pic.
QB324
Does anyone know if the new HLG QB324 is made using The same Samsung diodes as, say, the 288 boards, or do they use Nichia, or other?

There are also links to the Florence lenses(60 and 90 degree) in that link. Someone on another forum said that this glue: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DA6X0E8/?c ... _lig_dp_it worked for them, but don't know if it's the best, or recommended by HLG.

Don't know about those, but are you aware of the HLG recommended lenses: https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/p ... tum-boards ? Might want to ask HLG what glue they recommend, as they had offered glued-on lenses as an option.

Re: Pairs of slate 3 triple
What size space? How far apart? The overall plan is a grow area of 5'X12' consisting of a row of 3 5'X4' SCROGs, so looking at the possibility of a pair of 3 board fixtures per each SCROG, or 6 fixtures total. Spacing would be whatever provides the most uniform coverage, thinking a pair of fixtures...
