harder you run the drivers the more efficient the driver runs?
if you have a CC driver that can supply 1A from let's say 30-100V it's more efficient if you reach towards 100V instead of 30V. that's what i heard.
i don't know about losses when they are dimmed

Re: cheap, dimmable drivers by "thomas research products" + display

of course i used the dimming leads. but maybe you could somehow wire the 2 driver's dimming leads in series with a pot. no idea :D

Re: "LM561C" Boards and Strips from Bright and thoughts on dealing with Shenzen mfg's

these do look like the LM561c. This is already a step ahead of other players mentioned. haha do you value the "look" of the LED? this is like buying clothing just because it has a counterfeit luxury brand tag on it. anyway, another advantage of them is their aluminum PCB (better heat disappation) b...

Re: Running at max or 75%?

since they were not efficient to start with, VESTA are not really inefficient when you look at photon output, instead of lm/w. so from a plants viewpoint. by using LivingLight's "lm to photon conversion factors" you get these umol/s per watt : 129 lm/W * 0.017 = 2.27 VESTA CRI90 (0% = BASELINE) 144...

301B has virtually the same specs as the 561c, but mainly seems more efficient because the chosen current was lower?
like i calculated in the other thread. it is 3.5% more efficient than lm561c if you power them the same.

150lm/w would be great... especially if its 12v and can be chopped every 3 diodes.
problem with those flex strips is that they use resistors that result in a lot of efficiency wasted

Re: Best colour for cannabis flower only

And concerning the bleaching under led's panels, it's most of the time induced by very high density of light in the uv-blue region (not really burning, it's another kind of stress). Because people don't understant that most led lights produce a fcking huge light density if you are too close from th...
