Can filters
Hi everyone, I purchased some lights form a bulk auction lot and part of the package was a huge can filter. It can filter approximately 1800 cfm with the right fan. I don't need that much, I have about 200sqft. I'd like to hook it up to an 8inch fan but I'm not very creative and I can't come up with...

Topping plants
I was a watching a video by Chef Derek Butt and he's explaining that the moment you top your plant, the tap root stops growing and you'll fail to develop a strong root ball resulting in smaller yields. I'm worried now, I just topped my plants at around 8-10 inches (the 5 leaf set). Did I just lose a...

New COB supplier
Hey everyone, I'm considering doing some Amazon Prime sales for some common COB parts, mainly heatsinks for now. I've found that there are limited options out there, especially on Amazon, which if you're from the US, is usually where most people look first. What do you guys think? Think there's a ma...

Re: Does it work ? And if so how does it work ?
The voltage output is going to depend on the amount of milliamps (ma) you pick for the driver. I've been told that you want to run Meanwell drivers at their highest outputs for best performance. So try and match the driver max output to your build. I believe that the optimal current is around 1400 f...

Re: COB spacing and setup
I currently have the pre-fab led and custom cob. The custom cob is a 4 foot run with 4 cobs. I'm ordering 2 more kits that will be 5 cobs. I might just reassemble everything. That's what I'm trying to figure out . I think I need to just order up some graphing paper and blueprint some designs. If I r...

Re: COB spacing and setup
Based on the calculator, I'm right on track with the 240HLG 1400.

Re: COB spacing and setup
CLU048 12-12. HLG CC 1400. I'm not totally certain but I think running 5 cobs at lower power will be a bit easier on the cob load, i dont want to lose efficiency by blasting power out of 3-4. 5 is a stretch but it's what comes with the kit I plan to buy from Britelite on Alibaba.

COB spacing and setup
This is probably in another feed somewhere but I can't seem to find it: COB spacing. I'm trying to draw blueprints for my new set up and I'm trying to figure out how to space the COB's. I'm going to run CLU048's 80CRI on HLG240 drivers. 15 COBS on 3 drivers for now and I have one prefabricated 250 w...

Re: Build with me (Need advice)
Hey Starter, some basic rules of thumb to give you an idea through your first grow is such: 1 watt of power will yield approximately 1 gram of dried flower/bud. The yield is also largely dependent upon the power of your lights, not the number of your plants. So a better question to ask yourself is h...
