Re: Wiring 2' f series strips on hlg 600 48a
My bad I worded that wrong on the hlg 600h 24a i wired it all parallel on the 48a I wired groups of 2 in series like you described. Using my killawatt the 24a maxed on both pots was 645-650 at the wall and the 48a with both pots maxed is 690-695. I tuned them both down to 615 and the 24a runs the st...

Re: Wiring 2' f series strips on hlg 600 48a
Thanks thats how I did it just wanted to make sure. I already did the same setup except with a hlg 600 24a and the heatsinks are noticably cooler than with the 48a. Just wanted to make sure I didnt do something wrong. Now Im wondering why they would be hotter.

Wiring 2' f series strips on hlg 600 48a
Can someone show me how I should wire the 2' single row f series strips on a hlg 600 48a? Im putting 24 strips on 12 48" heatsinks held in 2 48" .75x.75 aluminium c chanels. I assume the strips need to be run in groups of 2 in series. How is it best to do this?

Hlg 600h-48a
So Ive got the meanwell hlg 600h-48a and its got a third set of wires on the output side. Im assuming these are for a potentiometer. It has 3 wires red black and yellow. I thought only b drivers had this and its definitely an a with 2 built in potentiometers. What do I do with them?

F series strips with supplemental red and uv
Ive got the 2' f series 3k strips and was planning on making the heatsinks 4' originally but now Im contemplating using 4.5' or 5' heatsinks and leaving a gap in the middle and putting far and photo red diodes in the middle and possibly some uv as well. Anyone else tried this or got any suggestions?

Wago question
While looking for wagos for a 4x4 build with 12 strips I was trying to find 7 port wagos and found these 8 port ones. Question is will these handle the current for each lead from the meanwell hlg-600-48? The strips are 3k single row f series. www.homelectrical.com/dark-grey-8-port-pushwire-connector...

Samsung strips single vs double row
I see people recommend the double row f series strips over the single row. Is there any reason aside from heat sink cost and ease of wiring to go double row vs single. I would assume, although I could be wrong, that the single row would give a more even spread. Can anyone give me pros and cons of ea...
