Re: First Grow journal - 320W - 3X3 - Organic

Okay so running your driver at 1A, you approximately got this: https://zupimages.net/up/18/19/io5h.png I think you should try with 14 far-red leds at the same current intensity. It results in a 7% far-red spectrum, with an equivalent phytochrome ratio to a 2700k 90CRI. You may even benefit from emer...

Re: First Grow journal - 320W - 3X3 - Organic

Exactly, so they also get 48v. Okay, it's a bit risky to do this kind of parallele because you are not sure the respective voltages of the series will match with the others. But it seems to works well for you ^^ I'm gonna do the simulation at 1000mA, as you are diming down the light i guess we can'...

Yeah... Sorry,

SI-B8U521560WW
okay thx, and last thing i don't understand is the way u wired the red leds.
if i understand well your 5strips are wired in parallele on the HLG-320H-48
did you wire the red line in parallele with the white strips on the same driver?

Re: First Grow journal - 320W - 3X3 - Organic

I will check all the paper tonight, thank you very much! Actual strip: SI-B8V521560WW No problem, internet fake scientist are doing a lot of intox nowadays, i try to help introducing real studies and arguments. The ref of this strip you gave me is a 3000k, are you sure you got 3500k? you can check ...

Re: First Grow journal - 320W - 3X3 - Organic

SAG's long answer about why emerson effect won't work w/ + 700nm on cannabis. Lol this guys is out of the sientific reality i'm sorry :D It's nice that people are investigating the question, but they stay at the surface when a scientist dig deeper check this article using 730nm leds: Far Red light ...

To illustrate the PSI and PSII range here is a graph (don't remember the specie but you can check on the study) https://zupimages.net/up/18/19/qyaz.png Action spectra of photosystems II and I and quantum yield of photosynthesis in leaves in State 1 Agu Laisk, Vello Oja, Hillar Eichelmanna, Luca Dall...

Re: First Grow journal - 320W - 3X3 - Organic

Yes the fluence answer is quite "political", but I was asking information about their far-red only lights . So they are quite honest about what they know about their product. Is kinda rare in this industry. Anyway, I do have some spare 730nm led to play with the PFR during flowering. Do you have an...

Re: First Grow journal - 320W - 3X3 - Organic

The ambiguity on far-red, i think got 3 origins: first the emerson effect, we don't really care a lot about that because its effect is minimal. Marketing around emerson effect make people lost the first goal of the spectrum optimisation. second is the ambiguity of phytochromes responses: a high Pfr/...

Re: First Grow journal - 320W - 3X3 - Organic

I we analyze a bit the Fluence spectrum, they seem to have a lot of 660nm red (with a little bit of 680-700nm): https://i.imgur.com/0GiRo3J.png Fluence seems to work very hard on their spectrum & knowledge and not just selling marketing bullshit. So I kinda trust them. I'm still trying to find good...

Re: New garden is born

Nice! Strawberries would be fun. I’m most interested in how those turn out for you. Yeah i'm sceptical on the spectrum because i used to grow strawberries under 5000k. unfortunately it is not the same strain so i won't be able to compare the taste or the productivity. One thing ive noticed is that ...
