Re: Free atreum 288.2 for testing in a 2x2
Just a 2x2 grow in a tent setup using only this board as promised to atreum. That was the plans With this board before my marriage went south.

No idea exactly. I would say they are dissipating some. If you look at the datasheet on the drivers it usually gives an Effeciency curve to how hard the driver is ran.

If you choose to go that route, make sure the pot is rated for the voltage and amps.

Re: Genuine Chinese Sellers
Yes a sphere test is what is needed. The b+ diodes and lower bins perform great as well. You just don't get the same Effeciency.

Re: Stopping nut before harvest?
Yes, molasses is for organic growing. You feed the bacteria sugars. They eat the sugars, and produce the nutrients for the plant. You are not really feeding the plant sugars, you are creating a more active environment organically. If your not organic, it doesn't really do anything.

Re: Atreum 144.2 Meanwell HLG-240H-36B build confirmation
If you read that page you linked for the diagrams, it recommends not to daisy chain the boards like that. I believe all the current is running through the first board. You need to wire all the positives to the positive lead of the driver, and all the negatives to the negative lead of the driver. So,...

Re: New Quantum board QB96 V2 elite. from HLG. Help to select driver
Since you got the a version of the driver, there are two internal potentiometers in the driver. Hook up your multimeter, or you can buy a dc digital display, and adjust the pots however you want them. One is for volts, and on is for current. Ledgardner explains this a little in his meanwell guide 4 ...

Re: New Quantum board QB96 V2 elite. from HLG. Help to select driver
There really isn't a lot of info on these boards yet. If you stick with the 4200mA max per board and did get the heatsinks. The hlg-480h-54a wired parallel would be a nice choice. Use a multimeter to measure the current to make sure each board is getting no more than 4200mA. Also keep an eye on the ...

Re: Constant voltage/parallel system over powering
Just wanted to chime in that strips will pull over their rated max without hesitating if given the voltage to do so. The max rating is only referring to how much current the strip can safely take and doesn’t have anything to do with how much they will pull. If you feed them a high enough voltage wi...
