Mixed COBs ????
Hey Everyone For my 4x4 tent, I have a current DIY Light set up that has three rails. Each rail Is powered by a Meanwell HLG 320H 1400B and includes 3 Bridgelux Vero 29’s 72v. I am unhappy with the inconsistent coverage that I get with having only those 3 lights on each rail spaced at the same point...

Re: Help with Troubleshooting Vero 29 Fixture
Thanks @whiterecluse. So I bought a soldering iron, reviewed a bunch of tutorials and went to work. I had 2 rails that were not lighting up. First rail worked immediately. Second rail still not lighting up. Do you think I should retry soldering or buy new cobs? At this point not sure how to troubles...

Re: Help with Troubleshooting Vero 29 Fixture
Since I’m a newbie I was avoiding soldiering, however I think you are right. I’m a quick learner so it’s worth a try. The frustration with the ez connectors is killing me! Thanks for the tip. I thought you could only use the ez connect. Hopefully my next post is a positive one

Re: Help with Troubleshooting Vero 29 Fixture
I think the problem is the molex ez connectors. I get them to work before attaching to heat sinks, after attaching the problems start and I have had the wire on a brunch break. Very frustrating. I don’t know what else to do but just order tons of them and keep trying.

Re: Help with Troubleshooting Vero 29 Fixture
Yep 234v. Ok good suggestion. I’ll take it down and rewire. It’s too difficult to try to figure it out while hanging. Thanks for all of your help![👍](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/s9e/emoji-assets-twemoji@11.2/dist/svgz/1f44d.svgz)

I am using the version 7's. I also tested out the driver, and it is definitely operating.

Re: Help with Troubleshooting Vero 29 Fixture
I am using Meanwell 480 powering 3 Vero 29. The dimming leads aren’t shorted together. It was working before I hung, so that is what is confusing. Could I use a digital multimeter to test if power is coming from the driver? I have one, but have never used it.

Help with Troubleshooting Vero 29 Fixture
Hi- In recently built a Vero 29, 9 light fixture with 3 lights per dimmable HLG driver. Lights are wired in series. In testing, everything worked. When I hung the fixture something must have happened. On of the rails (3 lights, one driver) is not powering up when I plug it in. I have rewired the ser...
