Re: Planning a COB system

be very careful with these chinese board makers.
it is very known what they do quality wise.
I would go DIY path with bridgelux or samsung strips.

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build

I agree that we should be very carufull. I was under impression that it's safer to use C.V. driver.
now I'm not sure again wich one to use :? .

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build

I want to go with CV because of high voltage involved in CC. don't want to think about that really. I'm very careful around electricity and I will probably insulate everything but you never know. only one slip and... the driver will be very accessible and I don't think it would be a problem ...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build

...but it looks like it can go at least up to 10A @ 20V on EB Gen2 560mm strips (~200W) and probably even more. how is this possible? anyone knows what would be the max for HLG-120H-20A that I plan to use for running 8 pcs of EB Gen 2 strips (560mm)? edit: I found it. 120 20a is reported to go 2.67...

Re: login with TOR...

I've been using VPN lately with firefox on ledgardener site, on majority of time it works, but sometimes again it gives that error that IP was blocked after a while. and I'm using common servers from EU not some "wild" ones :? . I don't understand this blacklisting of TOR and VPN acceses to sites es...

Re: ZEUS 308 XT x2 in parallel with ELG-240-42A-3Y

hi. I'll wait for the more experiences to comment on a driver pick. regarding the zeus boards. did you actualy find some useful tests or someone that actualy has one? I didn't manage to find online anyone owning and using them. for us in EU that's the best IMO, IF the specs are true. but still it's ...

Re: Total Newbie Strip Light build

hi. nice thread. same as I'm thinking of building (bridgelux strips (560mm) to fill 0.6x0.6m box). I'm completely lost now in these CC or CV drivers story and numbers. If I understand correctly, if I want option for running 8 bridgelux 560mm strips from ~0.35A (25%) upto 0.7A (50%) I can use HLG-120...

bridgelux EB Gen 2 or samsung F series in EU?

where in EU can you buy bridgelux and samsung strips?
I know you can get them of digikey but for ordering that from US to EU, the customs and taxes will be very high not to mention the grief to go thru with local custom guys. nightmare.
thanks.

@Futuregrow,
if you are going to be selling these, is it inside EU or US?
if It's EU I would be interested when we get the prices.
thanks.
